Design Story

The composition is built in horizontal bands, and the hierarchy is flawless. A cream banner carries ALABAMA above CRIMSON TIDE in tight serif lettering. Below it, a deep crimson panel with fine filigree tooling frames the script A as the single, unmistakable visual anchor. Twin elephant motifs and small football details sit low and quiet, supporting rather than competing. A cream base band closes the design with an EST 1831 medallion. The restraint is the point: warm crimson against aged cream, ornament kept thin, negative space allowed to breathe.

Use & Experience

On a vertical drinkware silhouette this works because the eye travels naturally down the bands. The script A lands at the front-facing focal area, right at eye level when the tumbler sits on a desk. The wraparound filigree keeps the sides interesting from any angle, and the design stays legible at real-world carry distance.
