Design Story

The composition is strictly vertical and symmetrical: sweeping orange ribs flow from the base, split around a central circular medallion, then resolve upward into the wordmark and 'FORMULA 1 TEAM' lettering. That medallion — speedmark above script, '1963' beneath a laurel — anchors the whole panel as the focal point. Lower down, a small rectangular plaque reading 'WE RACE AS ONE' provides a quiet counterweight. The palette is disciplined: near-black ground, warm metallic orange accents, a thin champagne-toned band at the collar. High tonal contrast, almost no visual noise.

Use & Experience

On a tumbler, this works because the graphic respects the cylinder. The wraparound linework curves with the form rather than fighting it, the focal medallion sits at natural eye level when held, and the orange handle and lid extend the accent color beyond the print into the silhouette itself. Carried, it reads as an accessory, not a novelty cup.
