Design Story

The focal panel is a circular medallion carrying the Leeds United crest in navy, white and yellow, ringed by a jewelled border and scrolling gold ornament. Below it, a banner reads MARCHING ON TOGETHER, with EST. 1919 tucked into a small cartouche at the side. The lower third breaks into diagonal navy and cream bands with a gilded football motif, which stops the ornamentation from becoming static. Tonal contrast does the heavy lifting: cool navy grounds the palette, warm gold provides the rhythm, cream gives the eye somewhere to rest.

Use & Experience

On a tall tumbler silhouette the design is built in tiers — banded top, crest at eye level, diagonal base — so the wraparound reads clearly from any angle. The crest sits at the natural front-facing point, and the gold-toned handle and lid finish echo the metallic linework instead of competing with it. Vertical proportion keeps the ornament disciplined rather than crowded.
